You Just Wait ~ Kerri S Wilson
May 8, 2018
I keep hearing, “Wait on the Lord.” It’s not easy to do; it confronts my trust issues. It also means I have to accept unwanted challenges. I have to determine to grow through the struggle rather than succumb to its pressure. But as hard as it is to do, waiting is what I’m doing.
He knows the desires of my heart. That’s a given because, first, He put them there, and second, He knows everything. He will fulfill what He has put in my heart.
Even though disappointment accompanies waiting, faithfulness will bring the reward of fulfillment and purpose.
It’s not my place to force the issue. I have to ignore the distraction and pressure coming at me from outside of Him, do what I know to do for now, and let Him complete His work in His time.
