It's Today!

Today is the day!

Maybe it wasn't this day, exactly. I'm no scholar, so I can't say for sure. But it was this day, the first of the three, when it all began.

What began?

It's the day that began His journey to death—the death He died because of me.

It's also the day that began my journey to life—the life I live because of Him.

That was then, and He was there. This is now, and I am here. But we walked that road together on this day back then.

We walked together as He carried my cross, took my beating, endured my pain, bore my sorrow, and suffered my shame.

I wasn't there physically, but I was with Him. I was on His mind as He followed that road to Calvary.

He gave everything to purchase my freedom.

And He did it today.

Today is the day!
