Love Attraction

My daily scripture caught my attention the other day. It said, "Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth" (1 John 3:18, ESV). As I considered the message from the passage in 1 John I remembered the words of Jesus: "By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another" (John 13:35, ESV).

Love is not just a feeling we express. Love is an action that should be lived out. Jesus demonstrated what love looks like through His life and His sacrifice. Being a Christian is not just about proclaiming the faith I follow, but it's about living out the love of Christ. And people experience Jesus' love in me not by what they hear from me but by what they see from me.

There is nothing more attractive than when people love each other. It's the best way to reflect the character of Christ.
