Jae's Thoughts

My sixteen year old daughter, Jaelyn, who is pictured above, wrote the following piece. She gave me permission to share her thoughts with you.

I Walked A Mile...

By Jaelyn Elle Wilson

I walked a mile with worry It wasn't something I was wanting

I walked a mile with doubt It made me stay to the ground

I walked a mile with sadness It wasn't something I expected

I walked a mile with hate It made my heart feel ashamed

I walked a mile with fear It filled my eyes with tears

I walked a mile with guilt I didn't like how it made me feel

I walked a mile with bitterness It never allowed forgiveness But today I walked a mile with God And he filled me up with love (See 1 Peter 4:8.)
