Do You See What I See?

Do You See What I See?

By Kerri S. Wilson

Do you see what I see?

"It's a shame that you can't see what I see," said a friend to a friend who saw herself as less than acceptable.

What I see matters, so what is it that I see? I behave the way I see myself, which reflects the way I see the world, which impacts the way the world sees me.

If I think too highly of myself I will think too lowly of others. If I think to lowly of myself I will think too highly of others. Either way I see it, wrong perception distorts the way I see everything on the inside of me and on the outside of me.

It's what He sees that matters most! So when I look at me what do I see? Do I see what I think I see? Do I see what I think others see? Do I see what others think they see. Or do I see what He sees?

If I see what He sees it is then that I begin to reflect Him. It is that reflection that changes all perception.

I hear Him asking, "Do you see what I see?"
