It's Not That Complicated!

Here is a quick thought for your consideration.
When the disciples asked Jesus who was greatest among them, He called a child over and then replied, "Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 18:3-4, ESV).
When the disciples rebuked those who were bringing their children to Jesus, Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it” (Luke 18:16-17, ESV).
For the most part, children are not motivated by ambition, pride or arrogance, but rather, they are unassuming and teachable. We adults, on the other hand, tend to be ambitious, prideful, arrogant, assuming and unteachable. It seems when it comes to our relationship with God we would be better off if we reverted back to our childlike ways.
We make it complicated. But it's really not that complicated!
